Reference No. (as per Procurement Plan): EIEWMP-BHTPA-S-3A (Need based Consultancy Firm).
The Government of the Peoples Republic of Bangladesh has received financing from the World Bank (IDA) toward the Bangladesh Environmental Sustainability and Transformation Project (BEST) Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services.
The consulting services (“the Services”) include, not limited to: (Detail scope of services are mentioned in the terms of reference):
A. Objectives:
The consultancy aims to (i) coordinate and supervise all technical activities related to the design and construction of the physical infrastructure and set-up of the e-waste management plant; and (ii) support BHTPA’s Project Implementation Unit with core functions to implement Component 4 throughout the project period.
B. Place of Work: Project Head office and Project area
C. Implementation Period: The Assignment will start from May- 2025 and will be continued up to 24 Months (Twenty-Four Months)
D. Total professional staff-months: 234 person-month (Key Expert)
E. Expected start date of the assignment: May 2025

Establishment of E -waste management Plant under BEST project implemented by the Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park Authority under Information and Communication Technology Divisions now inviting eligible consulting firms (“Consultants”) to indicate their interest in providing the stated Services. Interested Consulting firms should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the services.
